9 months ago, the most amazing thing happened!! I got a kitten! A beautiful, sweet, long haired kitten! Two days later, my brother got a short hair kitten (who happened to be my kittens brother) Both were 3 months old. Mine is named Sage, fondly known as Sagie. His is Cilantro. We have a family tradition of naming our cats after spices. Tarragon died on January 3, at 21 years old (yes, that would be human years). Cilantro has recently been using his hunting skills for, well, hunting. just the other day he was dragging around a small bird. Later (I believe the same day) he had a baby bunny. Awwwww! It was dead though so... well, not as cute, but I guess we have a bunny overpopulation, because I've been told that pest control and exterminators are now going after the bunnies.. how sad! Then yesterday, we got to see him chasing it, and now there's bunny guts all over our back patio. Ew! The kitties have developed some really bad habits in walking on the counters and staying out late. Last night, I had to get out of bed to let a very loud and utterly sopping Cilantro in the back, then a similar Sagie in the front. They were very hungry. What a surprise.
